FlyFreely Enters the U.S. Market

We are excited to announce that FlyFreely, has officially entered the United States market with FAA approval as a UAS Service Supplier (USS) under the Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) services.

In addition to LAANC capabilities, FlyFreely brings a comprehensive suite of software tools to support Part 107 drone pilots, Part 107 waiver holders and US based drone program managers to manage their operations, compliance and fleet.

FlyFreely for Part 107 Pilots

Part 107 pilots can now immediately access FlyFreely's LAANC capability through the FlyFreely Office App. This capability, available on any web browser, gives remote pilots airspace awareness and the ability to apply for necessary authorizations in just a few clicks.

Pilots can get airspace authorizations quickly and efficiently, ensuring they remain compliant with FAA regulations.

LAANC is available to all users, whether you are on a free or paid plan. See the demo below to see how it works.

FlyFreely for Part 107 Waiver Holders

Part 107 waiver holders can also access a suite of tools suitable for managing compliance with one or more waivers.

Capabilities include the ability to configure authorised UAS and Pilots on a per wavier basis with automated workflows that are tailored to the waiver's requirements. Additionally an approval step can be introduced to give the waiver holder the ability to approve, modify or reject proposed operations.

This means that waiver holders can trust that all operations are being conducted to the required standards with a comprehensive audit trail for regulatory compliance.

FlyFreely also contains a unique authority-sharing capability which enable Part 107 Waivers to be shared to other organisations. This enables an organisation without a waiver to have their pilots, UAS and mission plan approved to operate under the waiver while remaining inside their organisation.

FlyFreely for US drone program managers

FlyFreely includes capabilities to support drone program managers including conformance monitoring, currency management, workgroups, training records, maintenance schedules, risk assessments, automated flight log collection plus much more. It all means drone program managers can focus on growing their program and not worry about compliance.

As part of our US launch and to provide further value to US drone program managers operating across North America, FlyFreely is also introducing support for operations in Canada and Mexico. For the first time, drone program managers in the US will be able to seamlessly manage all operations in one software platform without having to resort to workarounds or build separate systems.

FlyFreely for the Future

FlyFreely has been supporting BVLOS and complex operations outside of the US for many years. We have built several advanced capabilities to support these operations in terms of operational planning, compliance and airworthiness.

This means by becoming a FlyFreely customer you will be well positioned to meet all the requirements to support upcoming Part 108 operations or the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS).
